There are moments in life you want to hold onto.
A snapshot to remember for a lifetime.
I designed the first piece of this jewelry for my wife to capture that day, the night we met.
I hope the jewelry marks an unforgettable moment in your life.
Akira Yoshimura is a Japanese product designer who was born in Yokohama, Japan. His love of objects, and in particular, their tactile nature, was informed at an early age. He was fascinated with his grandparents’ collection of antique lacquered furniture, kimono, porcelain, and earthenware. This passion, together with his keen interest in combining Eastern and Western design elements, led to his embarking on a study and career path in the United States. Akira lives in New York City, and is constantly inspired by the art, architecture, and design world of his environment. His designs have been exhibited at the Cooper-Hewitt Museum, sold at the MoMA Store, and can be found in the environments of commercial and private clients.
